Wellbeing and Mental Health
Champion Programme within your Business
Why have Wellbeing Champions?
Wellbeing Champions act as “go to” individuals within your company that can respond well to those in need of a “listening ear.” They can provide general wellbeing support, facilitate implementation of the company’s health and wellbeing strategy, and signpost the wellbeing support available.
Wellbeing Champions can be a helpful “temperature gauge” and feedback mechanism for employee engagement. Work-related pressures can be high, the support of wellbeing champions can help ensure a mentally and physically healthy team which will reap organisational benefits. Much of this is likely to be due to mental health issues impacting efficiency.
This programme is designed to support people learning to become Wellbeing Champions. It is led by Gill Mathias who is a CPD trainer.
The programme lasts for a period of 3 months with 3 group sessions and a monthly 1-2-1 to each delegate. It will also include “homework” each month which must be completed before becoming a mental health and well-being champion.
This programme is designed to help and support colleagues but does not replace professionals with qualifications.
