Gill Mathias, Midlife Strategist and Resilience Coach
I have worked within the area of midlife coaching for many years, and it has been proven to be a valuable resource to help individuals navigate this stage of life.
Midlife is a time for reflection and can be emotionally challenging. Lack of confidence, children leaving home, change in identity or job, divorce, menopausal misery, feeling stuck without purpose, fear or mental health and well-being challenges. These testing situations unfold during midlife so navigating these transitions and opportunities can feel daunting.
If you feel like you are holding onto life by just a thread and want to “bounce forward” with clarity, confidence and a renewed sense of purpose, let’s have a conversation so you can take a chance to change in midlife to live life on your terms.
If you are not convinced read my latest testimonial from my “Inspired Action Programme in Midlife.”
, I worked within a Government Department and had major problems in my work, surviving a divorce and turning 50. A friend recommended a chat with Gill. I was so fortunate to find her during a time of turmoil and during this transition in my life where I felt invisible.
I have just completed the Inspired Action Programme in Midlife.
The process was like building the foundations of a house and brick by brick Gill helped me gain perspective on the big picture to gain confidence, a new sense of purpose, identity of who I am now and clarify what was important in my life. We worked on self-reflection and awareness.
Gill is a brilliant listener, kind, empathetic but quite firm with accountability homework between sessions.
The outcome is that I have recently taken out time for myself but start a new job next month, which is nearer to my home and will reduce stress. I am beginning to accept my divorce with daily actions of reframing plus small steps where I am learning to not stress about what I can’t control and journalling to look back on my progress.
As for turning 50, I am embracing this half decade which I now understand is cause for celebration. I have joined a dance class and mixing with different but positive people.
Thank you Gill and I look forward to seeing you at our maintenance sessions on zoom.

INSPIRED ACTION MIDLIFE PROGRAMME
I have had excellent sessions with Gill and found it to be quite inspirational in helping with my mind-set. Had various issues (cancer of partner, work and my own self-esteem.)
I found her extremely professional, unthreatening and she completely transformed my way of thinking and re-framing. We worked on my own self-esteem and the “homework” was an important element in our working together.
Gill came through a recommendation and I would have no hesitation in referring her to anyone requiring mental support.

INSPIRED ACTION MIDLIFE PROGRAM
“Seeking help from Gill was brilliant , she helped me very quickly to gain clarity and confidence again in my life” I had several limiting beliefs abut my past and resolving those issues has been most helpful for my own self- identity. It was important to learn that there are beliefs but that the information may not be true.
